Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the team with design, coordination, planning, and completion of engineering projects.
  • •Communicate with seniors to understand project requirements and plan task approaches accordingly.
  • •Perform analysis and design of structural systems for various building types and materials using building codes.
  • •Manage project design deliverables and supervise junior engineers and modelers, including preparation of drawings and specifications for contract documents.
  • •Maintain QA/QC per AECOM standards by checking work and modifying plans; monitor task time to avoid overruns and explore automation for repetitive work.

Key Requirements

  • •6-9 years of experience on projects similar in function, size, and scope to structural engineering design work.
  • •Undergraduate degree in structural engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • •Strong technical skills in RCC and preferably structural steel.
  • •Mandatory knowledge of Indian codes; familiarity with US, BS, and Eurocodes is a plus.
  • •Working knowledge of structural engineering software including SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office; programming/macros/Excel design sheets is desirable.
  • •Interest in Rhino, Grasshopper, and Python coding is a plus.
