Job Summary

Safely operate tack trucks and heavy equipment for road, site, and highway construction and paving projects. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain required documentation, follow dispatch instructions, and comply with DOT and OSHA/MSHA regulations. Load and unload materials as needed, monitor vehicle performance and mileage logs, and keep equipment clean. Support the team through clear communication, assist with training, and maintain a safe worksite while handling general labor tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely operate tack trucks and heavy equipment on road, site, and highway construction and paving projects.
•Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain required documentation, and ensure DOT/company standards are met.
•Follow dispatch instructions, company policies, and applicable laws and safety regulations (OSHA/MSHA).
•Load and unload materials (occasionally manually as required) and monitor vehicle performance, mileage logs, and equipment condition.
•Work collaboratively with co-workers, assist in training and mentoring, maintain a safe site, and perform general labor duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

•Minimum age of 18 due to workplace safety requirements.
•Valid driver’s license meeting state requirements (CDL Class B with tanker endorsement required).

•Willingness to travel, work outdoors in all weather, and take night or weekend shifts as needed.
