Key Responsibilities

  • •Always follow and comply with safe operating practices and procedures.
  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in a shop environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment across mechanical and electrical systems, using test instruments and required tools.
  • •Document work performed, parts used, and findings on Repair Orders (RO) using a company-issued device and/or Karmak application.
  • •Complete DOT forms and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner, and maintain productivity within standard repair times.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination such as degree/certification beyond HS or 5 years’ experience).
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •Complete required DOT-regulated background screening and DOT physical prior to employment (or submit a valid DOT medical card with >4 months remaining).
  • •Current valid DOT medical card with required remaining validity or willingness/ability to complete DOT physical if less than or equal to 4 months.
  • •Safe drivers needed: valid state-of-residence driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain Driver Qualification File.
