Key Responsibilities

  • •Interact with guests and provide friendly service at the bar.
  • •Suggestively sell beverages and menu items and deliver orders promptly.
  • •Prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications and follow control systems.
  • •Record equipment failures and safety hazards in the bar log and maintain safety and sanitation standards.
  • •Serve responsibly: refuse service to intoxicated guests, check IDs for guests under 30, and complete opening/running/closing duties and cash procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete a pour test and pass a timed mixology drill (where applicable).
  • •California Licensee or Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training certification (or equivalent).
  • •Cash handling experience and the ability to prepare payments and guest checks using a point-of-sales terminal.
  • •Ability to work late hours with a flexible schedule.
  • •Lift or move up to 25 lbs and demonstrate interpersonal communication and teamwork.
