Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering

Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare feasibility studies, outline design, detailed design and construction support.
  • •Undertake the design and review of electrical and ICA elements in wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects, such as chemical dosing, pumping stations and sludge treatment units.
  • •Produce and review client deliverables, including calculations, drawings and technical reports to relevant standards and procedures.
  • •Liaise and collaborate with our water and other discipline teams including civil, electrical, process and mechanical engineers nationwide.
  • •Visit site to carry surveys and support of liaisons with clients, contractors & suppliers.
  • •Attend and contribute design review meetings such as HAZOPs, HAZIDs and SWIFTS

Key Requirements

  • •Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • •Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with a relevant institution (e.g., IET)
  • •Proven ability to deliver engineering designs, reports, drawings, technical specifications and calculations with confidence and precision
  • •Hands-on experience delivering innovative solutions for water and wastewater engineering projects
