Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist clients in coordinating and managing HMGP and related recovery programs.
  • •Interpret and apply FEMA HMA program and policy guidance and other regulations to evaluate project documentation for eligibility, accuracy, and cost reasonableness.
  • •Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction managers to verify quantities, develop cost estimates, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • •Develop benefit-cost analyses (BCA) and assess applications for compliance, eligibility, and feasibility prior to FEMA submission.
  • •Perform documentation data entry in an electronic document management system and help maintain project filing systems while escalating complex issues as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 2+ years of demonstrated performance with FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) or other relevant state/federal programs; or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •Must pass a state and federal criminal history/security background check.
  • •Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • •Valid US Driver’s License for travel to various regional and satellite locations to support project task assignments and scope of work.
  • •Ability to operate computer applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel) and proficient virtual collaboration (Microsoft Teams, etc.).
