Job Summary

Lead the design, modernization, and integration of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) connecting shop-floor machinery to enterprise applications and OT/IT systems. Architect MES modules in C# and .NET, migrate legacy VB.NET/ASP components, build integrations with SAP/Oracle, SCADA/PLC, and WMS via APIs/web services, and optimize T-SQL and reporting. Serve as technical lead and provide tier-3 24/7 support for factory-critical reliability.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect and build advanced MES modules using C# and .NET.
•Modernize and migrate legacy VB.NET and ASP factory-critical applications into modern .NET frameworks.
•Design robust integration layers between MES, ERP (SAP/Oracle), SCADA/PLCs, and WMS using APIs and web services.
•Develop OT/IT automation that enables real-time factory-floor data collection via OPC servers and machine interfaces.
•Act as technical lead on MES projects, providing tier-3 on-call support to maintain 24/7 system reliability.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
•7+ years of professional object-oriented programming focused on C# and VB.NET.
•5+ years of experience in discrete or continuous manufacturing with strong MES workflow and batch processing knowledge.
•Expert capability with MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and/or Oracle databases.
•Hands-on integration experience with OPC DA/UA, REST/SOAP APIs, message queues (MSMQ), and ERP connectivity.
