Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver projects from inception through to completion with minimal senior oversight, including CFD modelling, evacuation modelling and other analytical fire engineering methods.
  • •Manage design projects and review the work of others to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • •Demonstrable experience across sectors and technical fire engineering applications with emphasis on UK regulations and markets.
  • •Develop approaches to solve problems by modifying standard procedures or applying methods from previous assignments.
  • •Lead the development of accurate cost estimates for technical efforts on projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered status (CEng) in Fire Engineering or a related discipline is essential.
  • •Relevant degree or professional qualification.
  • •Work experience within a similar consultancy or other relevant business.

  • •Demonstrable experience managing the fire engineering aspects of small to medium sized design projects within agreed timescales and budgets.
