Key Responsibilities

  • •Champion the design, iteration, and maintenance of UI systems including dynamic widgets, responsive menus, and animations.
  • •Establish, document, and promote UI Blueprint architecture best practices and workflows to ensure consistency, scalability, and performance across platforms.
  • •Evaluate and integrate emerging tools and technologies to enhance Experience Design across gameplay and interactive elements.
  • •Translate and improve UX designs into performant in-engine implementations, aligning UI visuals/behavior with underlying game systems.
  • •Mentor technical designers and partner cross-functionally to grow the Technical UI function, including involvement in hiring and onboarding.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience building, debugging, and optimizing in-game UI systems in UE4 or UE5 using Blueprints and UMG.
