Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the planning and operational environment for the Training Scheduling team.
  • •Act as a subject matter expert by assisting and training Coordinator Training Scheduling team members on everyday duties.
  • •Interpret and implement industrial awards/legislation and ensure execution and adherence to department procedures.
  • •Support training scheduling during periods of high training volume by working with stakeholders across the Qantas Group.
  • •Apply analytical and decision-making capabilities while demonstrating flexibility to meet operational needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2 years’ experience in crew planning and/or operations area.
  • •Thorough knowledge of Australian crew planning processes, the flying program, and training scheduling operations.
  • •Broad understanding of the Australian Industrial framework, company policy, CASA regulations, and EBA interpretation.
  • •Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team and remain calm under pressure.
  • •Highly proficient computer literacy, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with training systems (e.g., FOX, Jeppesen Systems, ARMS) is desirable.
