Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform DOT-compliant pre- and post-trip safety checks on the vehicle.
  • •Operate a semi-truck/yard tractor to transfer trailers to required locations.
  • •Locate the correct trailer and communicate with the loader to identify the proper trailer.
  • •Attach and secure trailers by connecting brake lines, raising/lowering landing gear, and releasing the 5th wheel pin.
  • •Conduct trailer inspections, assist with maintenance “red tag” processes, support fueling coordination, and complete daily clean-up.
