Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide architecture guidance and design for customer engagements, bootstrap or implement projects to enable Databricks adoption
  • •Collaborate with engagement managers, project managers, architects and customer teams to deliver technical components that meet customer needs
  • •Work with engineering and Databricks customer support to provide feedback and guide rapid resolution for product and support issues
  • •Design and deploy end-to-end data architectures that are performant and scalable
  • •Travel to customers 20% of the time
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms and analytics
  • •Proficient in Python or Scala
  • •Working knowledge of two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) with expertise in at least one
  • •Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark and knowledge of Spark internals
  • •Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments
