Key Responsibilities

  • •Define test plans, test cases, and develop test scripts to validate SSD firmware for Micron NAND-based systems and solutions.
  • •Create validation coverage across functional, system-level, and customer quality centric tests.
  • •Demonstrate validation strategy, plans, and status communication across the product life cycle, including program indicators.
  • •Integrate tests into automated test environments and collaborate with test execution teams to drive validation plans and strategies.
  • •Review, track, and document test results and issues, driving closures by interfacing with other product development teams.

Key Requirements

  • •8–14 years in embedded firmware or 8+ years in SSD product validation.
  • •Strong competency in NVMe/PCIe and NVMe Cloud SSD specifications, including customer-specific requirements.
  • •Hands-on debugging of NVMe protocol issues using Lecroy/JDSU analyzers.
  • •Experience preparing test plans for IO workloads, NVMe protocols, Flash Translation Layer, and Flash/back-end (NAND media) management.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, plus knowledge of Windows and Linux debugging and coding in Python.
