Lead multi-discipline, complex wastewater design projects from planning through permitting and construction in the New England region. Manage a portfolio of municipal wastewater projects, mentor junior staff, drive risk-aware decisions, grow client relationships, and lead business development and proposals within a collaborative, regional team.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead multi-discipline and complex wastewater design projects from the planning through permitting and construction phases, including alternative delivery projects.
•Manage a portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
•Develop and mentor mid-level and junior staff.
•Have decision-making authority and direct others in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such.
•Lead business development activities, including pursuing new clients and projects and serving as leader of proposal efforts.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field + 8 years of related experience in wastewater treatment, pumping and/or collection systems or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•Registered Professional Engineer.
•Demonstrated knowledge wastewater treatment, pumping stations, collection systems and client/consultant relations experience.
•Willingness and ability to travel within New England region.
•12 years of related experience in wastewater consulting and engineering management.
•Registered Professional Engineer licensed in one of the New England states and capable of obtaining a license in Massachusetts and Connecticut within 9 months of employment.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Participation in water community activities including Water Environment Federation and New England Water Environment Association.
•Proven ability to lead business development activities.
•Proven leader with an interest in developing and mentoring team members and demonstrated ability to successfully work in diverse teams.
