Job Summary

Own SAP FI (Accounts Payable) functional requirements for freight invoice, credit note, and accounting postings, including vendor/GL/cost center mappings, document types, validation rules, and reconciliation. Lead workshops with Finance and Logistics stakeholders to design future-state processes, define posting/exception scenarios, and specify attachment needs. Collaborate with SAP BTP/CPI and ABAP teams to deliver interface-based integrations, perform functional/unit testing, and support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct workshops with Finance, Logistics, and business stakeholders to understand and define freight invoice future-state processes.
•Own functional requirements for Freight Invoice and Credit Note integration into SAP, including invoice posting requirements, accounting rules, and validation logic.
•Define SAP posting processes/document types and accounting mappings (e.g., vendor, GL account, cost center) and business rules for success, rejection, and exceptions.
•Specify functional requirements for acknowledgements/status, invoice attachments/supporting documents, reconciliation between LOOP and SAP, and logging/error handling/reprocessing/monitoring.
•Prepare functional specifications and interface mappings, support SIT and business UAT, coordinate defect resolution, and provide cutover/go-live hypercare and knowledge transfer.

Key Requirements

•Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI, particularly Accounts Payable (FI-AP).
•Strong knowledge of vendor invoice and credit-note processing, including SAP accounting documents, posting keys, document types, GL accounts, and cost centers.
•Experience designing validation, error handling, reconciliation, and reprocessing processes for SAP postings.
•Experience in SAP development/integration projects involving interfaces, APIs, and RICEF objects, working closely with ABAP and middleware/integration developers.
•Proven ability to prepare functional specifications and lead end-to-end delivery through SIT, UAT, cutover, production deployment, and hypercare.
