Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze malfunctions and repair, rebuild, and maintain heavy power equipment (e.g., cranes, shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, pneumatic tools, tracked/wheeled vehicles).
  • •Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose defects; dismantle/reassemble, examine parts for wear, and replace defective engines and subassemblies; test overhauled equipment for operating efficiency.
  • •Weld broken parts and structural members and repair, adjust, and maintain mining machinery (e.g., shovels, drilling/cutting machines, continuous mining machines).
  • •Identify as LEAD and perform administrative duties including personnel accountability, timekeeping, drafting/submitting reports, and building a safety culture.
  • •May direct workers and support cleaning parts and assisting with assembly/disassembly; follow contract/company requirements; work indoors and outdoors with periodic overtime.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience
  • •Knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures and AR 750-1
  • •Good verbal and written communication skills
  • •Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screening
  • •Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 Investigation result, obtain and maintain a CAC, and bring/use own tools
