Job Summary

Negotiate and structure commercial contracts for Cloud/SaaS, software subscriptions, professional services, and data processing agreements, ensuring GDPR compliance for Sales and Partner organizations across the Central Region. Support Sales and RFP procurement processes by reviewing ITT/RFP requirements and drafting legal responses. Partner with legal and go-to-market stakeholders in Munich and globally, keep up with legal and regulatory developments, and help build legal workflow and compliance automation.

Key Responsibilities

•Negotiate and structure commercial contracts (Cloud/SaaS, software subscription, professional services, and data processing agreements) with GDPR compliance.
•Support Sales and RFP teams during procurement by reviewing ITT/RFP requirements, drafting legal responses, and advising on proposed terms and conditions.
•Collaborate with the Central Region Legal lead in Munich and other Legal teams across the USA, EMEA, and APJ, and advise go-to-market stakeholders (e.g., finance and compliance).
•Support EMEA and Global Legal team members on ad hoc projects as directed.
•Stay current on legal and regulatory developments, proactively advise stakeholders, and help build legal workflow and compliance processes (including AI tooling and automation opportunities).

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Qualified and legally permitted to practice law in Germany.
•4+ years’ experience drafting and negotiating technology contracts, including Cloud/SaaS, software subscription, professional services, and data processing agreements.
•Strong working knowledge of contract law and the ability to handle cyber and information security obligations in technology contracts.
•Experience and knowledge of relevant laws and legal systems in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.
•Ability to independently manage time and priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
