Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide high-level management and guidance to the water resources engineering team, including due diligence, task/project management, and delivery.
  • •Develop and lead processes and operating strategies for water quality, stormwater facilities, and MS4/TMDL program support.
  • •Oversee and monitor cross-functional execution of projects including budgets, tracking hours/expenses, permit applications, compliance documentation, and regulatory/technical analysis memos.
  • •Coordinate, review, and approve infrastructure design plans to ensure quality and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • •Prepare or oversee comprehensive technical reports and presentations; lead marketing and business development efforts as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a related Environmental Resources field focused on Water Resources.
  • •15+ years of relevant post-education experience in water resources engineering.
  • •Understanding of water resource engineering principles and their application to environmental permitting and project work.
  • •In-depth knowledge of stormwater management, drainage, NPDES MS4/TMDL programs, erosion and sediment control, hydrology & hydraulics, and watershed studies/floodplain delineation.
  • •Proficiency coordinating with agency regulators and understanding requirements, including environmental laws, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping.
