Key Responsibilities

  • •Support product pricing and product development for Life and Health insurance, making recommendations on product architecture and actuarial assumptions/methodology.
  • •Develop pricing models using actuarial assumptions and conduct sensitivity/scenario testing to assess financial impact.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery for product implementation.
  • •Prepare actuarial input for marketing materials and sales illustrations, and prepare documentation for regulatory filings and group product approvals.
  • •Monitor product profitability and sustainability, provide training/coaching to junior staff, and support business planning and profitability improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •University graduate in Actuarial Science or related disciplines with over 6 years of relevant experience.
  • •Associate or Fellow of a recognized actuarial body (e.g., SOA, IFoA, FIAA, HKIA) or equivalent.
  • •Solid knowledge of life actuarial techniques, tools, and methodologies, with pricing product knowledge preferred.
  • •Proficiency in MS Office, VBA, and actuarial software (e.g., Prophet).
  • •Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
