Job Summary

Maintain and repair a fleet of trucks, trailers, loaders, and related equipment in a safety-focused shop or field environment. Perform preventive maintenance, inspect for leaks and wear, complete brake inspections after training, and document work using a computer. Maintain shop supplies and help with upkeep, minor mechanical repairs, and housekeeping while following OSHA/MSHA safety and PPE requirements. Travel to job sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, loaders, and other equipment to ensure reliable operation.
•Inspect machinery for leaks, wear, and potential issues; report findings to the shop lead.
•After training, conduct certified brake inspections, including air brakes, within six months of hire.
•Document maintenance activities and inventory using a computer for accurate recordkeeping.
•Maintain weekly inventory of filters/oils/supplies and contribute to site upkeep and minor mechanical repairs as needed.
