Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, review, negotiate, execute, and manage B2B commercial agreements supporting growth initiatives in Korea.
  • •Provide legal support for Netflix’s advertising business by structuring and negotiating agreements with agencies, advertisers, measurement partners, and third-party ad-tech providers.
  • •Serve as a legal partner to cross-functional teams with advice on deal structures, risk allocation, rights, sponsorship frameworks, and new ad products.
  • •Advise on Korean advertising regulations, including consumer protection, fair labeling, and promotional standards.
  • •Advise on IP portfolio usage rights and approvals for marketing and commercial activities while maintaining contracting processes and knowledge management.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of relevant legal experience in-house and/or at a leading law firm, with a bar membership in good standing (Korea preferred).
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Korean, translating complex legal/regulatory issues into clear business guidance.
  • •Proven experience drafting, negotiating, and managing B2B commercial agreements in English, including licensing or strategic partnership agreements.
  • •Strong capability navigating local regulations and advising on compliance in a practical, business-enabling way.
  • •Working knowledge of intellectual property rights (trademarks, copyrights, brand usage) and experience advising on usage rights, restrictions, and approvals in commercial/marketing contexts.
