Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, run, and monitor Okta's production infrastructure.
  • •Advocate security best practices and lead initiatives to strengthen security posture for critical infrastructure.
  • •Respond to production incidents and determine preventive measures for the future.
  • •Triaged and troubleshoot complex production issues to ensure reliability and performance.
  • •Identify and automate manual processes while evolving monitoring tools and the platform.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years in DevSecOps or Cloud infrastructure security
  • •Experience automating, securing, and running large-scale production IAM and containerized services in AWS (EC2, ECS, KMS, Kinesis, RDS), GCP (GKE, GCE) or other cloud providers
  • •Knowledge of CI/CD principles, Linux fundamentals, OS hardening, networking concepts, and IP protocols
  • •Understanding of configuration management tools like Chef and Terraform
  • •Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, Go and shell
