Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and evolve capacity forecasting models to translate traffic patterns and product growth into multi-quarter and multi-year plans.
  • •Lead network planning and expansion strategy by defining headroom policies, redundancy targets, and growth triggers aligned to SLA/availability objectives.
  • •Run network simulations and what-if analysis to quantify failure-domain risk, congestion risk, and resiliency gaps, recommending topology/routing changes.
  • •Build scalable data tools and methods (pipelines, dashboards, automated insights) and partner with the OneNet team to automate planning workstreams.
  • •Deliver quarterly and annual planning and delivery governance readouts, establish standards/change management, and align plans to execution outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Own quantitative capacity planning models to forecast large-scale network traffic demand across multiple horizons (weekly/quarterly/annual).
  • •In-depth understanding of network devices, protocols, routing, and resiliency concepts such as BGP/IGP, ECMP, failure domains, and traffic engineering.
  • •Demonstrated experience applying quantitative methodologies to analyze network performance and capacity metrics.
  • •B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • •Coding experience in Python and SQL (MySQL or similar) and/or other languages for data analysis and automation.
