Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain Java-based cloud applications using cloud-native patterns and modern engineering practices.
  • •Implement GCP solutions for image capture, ingestion, processing, storage, retrieval, and distribution workflows.
  • •Create and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations, including versioning, documentation, and backward compatibility.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years developing backend services and APIs in Java (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
  • •Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating applications on GCP using serverless and/or container-based approaches.
  • •Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs with authentication/authorization patterns and service integrations.
  • •Experience with image-centric workflows (capture/ingestion, object storage, transformation, and metadata management) and AI capabilities (e.g., OCR/computer vision, extraction, redaction, or search).
  • •Knowledge of secure engineering practices (IAM/least privilege, service accounts, secrets management, encryption, and audit logging) plus CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).
