Job Summary

Own EHS program performance across Spreetail’s fulfillment center, including tracking key ORIR/LTI safety metrics, driving root-cause analysis, and executing corrective and preventative actions. Ensure accurate OSHA recordables, timely incident documentation and closures, and maintain audit readiness through monthly safety audits and emergency response preparedness. Lead and coordinate onboarding and PIT safety training targets, and actively manage workers’ compensation claims and modified duty programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Own ORIR and LTI safety rates, use data to support root-cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventative actions to completion.
•Ensure every OSHA recordable is accurately documented, investigated thoroughly, and closed on time with Operations engagement.
•Support P&C to maintain safety training completion at or above 95%, including onboarding safety training before a new hire’s first shift.
•Conduct monthly safety audits, track open items to closure, and drive continuous improvement quarter-over-quarter.
•Manage emergency response readiness and workers’ compensation claims, including modified duty programs and timely reporting to reduce costs.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of safety or EHS experience, ideally in a production, warehouse, distribution center, or e-fulfillment environment.
•Formal or extensive regulatory experience, including responsibility for managing safety logs, complaints, and onsite support.
•Experience supporting multi-shift operations, including night or weekend shifts.
•Direct hands-on experience conducting Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
•Proven ability to own and execute integrated safety programs independently without Safety Supervisor support.
