Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the design system end-to-end, including components, patterns, tokens, documentation, and adoption with close collaboration with Design.
  • •Own the front-end architecture, guiding deployment strategy, performance, build tooling, and conventions used across the org.
  • •Collaborate across every product team on front-end-heavy projects, multiplying your work across the organization.
  • •Partner with designers as a key connective tissue to translate design intent into what ships.
  • •Ship continuously with small incremental releases multiple times per day and engage directly with customers to incorporate feedback.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 90,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Deep experience with React, including complex production applications and understanding rendering, state, and performance at scale.
  • •Experience owning front-end infrastructure such as rendering strategies, build tooling, bundle performance, and architectural decisions for large apps.
  • •Have built or owned a design system, including component APIs, driving adoption, and handling migration and versioning.
  • •Strong CSS expertise across layout, styling architecture, breakpoints, themes, and edge cases, including accessibility and motion as part of the craft.
  • •Fluent TypeScript beyond the browser (you can write general TypeScript when needed) and are focused on real impact and ownership.
