Key Responsibilities

  • •Load, unload, and move materials, property, and misc. items on and off trucks/vehicles within the plant, warehouses, and offsite locations using powered industrial vehicles and material handling equipment.
  • •Open containers and packages, sort and prioritize mail/materials, and identify/report obvious damage in core logistics functional areas.
  • •Validate material/property identification and quantities against documentation and/or system information throughout each step of processing.
  • •Perform packing, labeling, tagging, staging, storage, and shipping tasks, including fabricating cushioning/bags/barriers/crates and securing loads for transit.
  • •Record/update internal and external logs and documentation and operate required equipment while following maintenance and safety practices.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED).
  • •2 years of experience operating lift trucks (forklifts) OR completed forklifting certification.
  • •Experience in logistics functions such as receiving, storing, issuing, inventory, delivery, packing, and/or shipping.
  • •Ability to read, write, and comprehend written or verbal instructions.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
