Key Responsibilities

  • •Originate new Direct Lending investment opportunities across Europe.
  • •Articulate go-to-market strategy to secure high-quality deal introductions.
  • •Manage transaction screening and due diligence, including reviewing information memoranda, third-party reports, and financial modelling priorities.
  • •Prepare and present Investment Committee papers, and oversee portfolio monitoring using KPIs, financial performance, and borrower/sponsor engagement.
  • •Support fundraising by participating in investor meetings and helping prepare marketing materials and research papers.

Key Requirements

  • •Substantial experience in private credit and/or leveraged finance, with strong underwriting of credit risk and capital allocation.
  • •Proven deal sourcing capability with an established network across European financial sponsors and advisers.
  • •Strong credit judgement to filter opportunities and focus on investments that maximise risk-adjusted returns.
  • •Analytical capability working with financial models and investment appraisal fundamentals.
  • •Fluency in English and German (preferably), with clear communication to present opportunities to senior forums.
