Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform functional operation tests and final electrical inspections of ATS, panelboards, switchboards, and related products for safe, correct, shippable operation.
  • •Inspect components and sub-assemblies for conformance to drawings/specifications/standards, including routing, wire, clearance, dimensions, and bus bar details.
  • •Conduct electrical functional tests to simulate field conditions; troubleshoot and identify rework required.
  • •Support quality processes and initiatives including quality holds/alerts, rework, calibration, and root cause analysis.
  • •Maintain inspection/test records and assist with assembly/wiring and shop-floor problem solving and disposition of non-conforming product.

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary education plus one- or two-year technical program in electrical/electronics with mechanical applications.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience working with CSA & UL requirements.
  • •Must be legally eligible to work in Canada with no company sponsorship.
  • •Must reside within 80 km of Milton, ON.
  • •Good understanding of electrical safety requirements and ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
