Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on time along required routes while following all safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • •Maneuver the truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment when needed, and return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain required delivery paperwork (invoices, bills of lading) and deliver documentation when routes are complete, including routine truck checks and reporting malfunctions.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold either a Class A CDL (or a chauffeurs license depending on state/vehicle requirements).
  • •Pass background and drug testing as required by federal/state DOT regulations, including a DOT physical for vehicles over 10k lbs.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to speak professionally with customers and staff at delivery points.
  • •Be able to lift/move up to 40 pounds, sit for extended periods in a trailer cab, and travel frequently.
