Job Summary

Inspect, repair, service, and maintain gasoline, diesel, and electronically operated mobile heavy equipment. Diagnose malfunctions, operate and inspect machines, dismantle and reassemble components, and use tools like micrometers and gauges. Perform welding and electrical repairs, replace engines and subassemblies, and test equipment for operating efficiency. Travel to different sites in the Willamette Valley while maintaining safety and records.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze equipment malfunctions and repair, rebuild, and maintain equipment.
•Operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects, using tools such as micrometers and gauges.
•Dismantle and reassemble equipment with hoists and hand tools, and replace defective engines and subassemblies.
•Test overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency and ability to operate all equipment.
•Perform record keeping, cleaning, lubrication, and communicate with supervisors about flaws and hazards.

Key Requirements

•Be safety minded and demonstrate good performance, attendance, and punctuality.

•Conform to and maintain OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and all other company or state rules and regulations.
•Have current US authorization to work (or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date).
