Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver CIM service offering for the Japan customer cluster within SLA timings and thresholds.
  • •Liaise with Japan market customers and sales teams on contract and invoicing issues, in Japanese where required.
  • •Review, interpret, and process Japanese-language customer agreements and invoices to ensure accurate coding, validation, and records retention.
  • •Perform volume analysis and calculate customer invoice amounts; ensure 100% invoicing and audit compliance.
  • •Act as market-facing point of contact for Japan stakeholders, representing GBS professionally and devising strategies to improve invoicing processes.

Key Requirements

  • •Business-level Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) for reading/drafting correspondence and interpreting contracts and invoices.
  • •Excellent Business English communication (written and spoken) for global stakeholders.
  • •Demonstrable understanding of the Japan market and customer/channel structure (key accounts, wholesalers, on-trade/off-trade, commercial practices, etiquette).
  • •Mandatory experience in Order to Cash process and strong attention to detail for invoicing/audit compliance.
  • •Strong numeracy/analytical skills including reconciliation and accounting knowledge, with strong Excel skills.
