Job Summary

Own and evolve the People Science workforce intelligence technical stack: build and maintain production data pipelines and AI-powered applications that turn HR system data into actionable insights. Partner with a senior consultant to triage work, prototype and productionize custom tools, and develop agentic systems that automate high-friction HR workflows. Translate workforce analytics into clear executive narratives while partnering with central IT to host, secure, and scale solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to and grow ownership of the workforce intelligence data engineering stack, including dbt models in BigQuery, staging layers from HR sources, and workforce event-grain models.
•Design and deploy agentic systems that automate high-friction HR workflows and surface actionable workforce intelligence, using AI-assisted development tools to iterate quickly.
•Act as the technical liaison with central IT for work beyond the data stack, triaging backlog items and partnering to host, productionize, secure, and maintain solutions.
•Scope and build custom internal tools where commercial HR products fall short, from prototypes through production-quality replacements.
•Build workforce intelligence pipelines and data products for leadership (e.g., headcount, attrition, org health) and translate multi-source analyses into executive-ready narratives.

Key Requirements

•Foundational HR domain expertise working with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, compensation or performance platforms) and understanding how HR processes translate into data.
•Hands-on data engineering skills: writing production SQL, using dbt (or similar), and understanding data modeling (grain, lineage, schema design).
•Working software engineering experience with production code (pipelines, API integrations, scheduled jobs, or lightweight applications).
•Exposure to AI/agent development, including LLM-powered tools and interest in deeper agent development; RAG, tool-calling, or multi-step frameworks are a plus.
•Ability to communicate and translate technical analysis for non-technical stakeholders and leadership audiences.
