Job Summary

Lead software security efforts within the SPA Center to embed secure coding practices across programs, working with architects and stakeholders to capture security requirements and ensure implementation aligns with DoD System Security requirements. Acts as technical lead for the Software Security Team, driving secure development, testing, and SBOM delivery, while coordinating with Systems Security and PPIP processes.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the Technical Lead and possibly the Agile Product owner for the Software Security Team
•Own the software security implementation to ensure compliance with System Security requirements
•Adopt and implement secure coding standards for each programming language used
•Drive off-nominal testing by ensuring the software remains secure during failure conditions and by developing negative test cases
•Contribute to the PPIP by providing software assurance implementation, software vulnerability risk assessment, and SBOM for final deliveries

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of related experience
•Experience in object-oriented software design and embedded development using languages such as C and/ or C++
•Experience with Xilinx UltraScale+ MPSoC, Versal, or similar Embedded Processors
•Experience with embedded OS like VxWorks, Embedded Linux, or similar
•Embedded Software Security and Cryptographic Algorithm experience
