Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver large features, product improvements, and critical bug fixes across agent hooks and in-IDE experiences.
  • •Make architectural decisions to keep integrations and public repositories scalable, secure, and aligned with 1Password security and authentication models.
  • •Identify technical opportunities and risks up to ~6 months out and lead execution aligned to team objectives.
  • •Improve quality by tracking code quality and testing gaps, anticipating issues, and maintaining strong documentation for community-facing repositories.
  • •Align cross-functionally with Partnerships, Product, UX, and SDK/CLI teams by translating requirements into actionable work.

  • •Independently own and deliver medium-to-large technical projects end to end with significant professional software development experience.
  • •Hands-on command of modern development toolchains (Git, IDEs, terminal, debugging and testing) and comfort reading, writing, and reviewing code.
  • •Design extensible, maintainable systems, ideally for developer tooling, IDE extensions, agent integrations, or actively maintained open source projects.
