Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with the sales team and provide technical leadership to help customers understand Databricks solutions.
  • •Develop account strategies with sales to support customer and prospect outcomes.
  • •Consult on Big Data architectures and implement proof-of-concepts spanning data engineering, data science/ML, and SQL analysis workflows.
  • •Collaborate with product and engineering to drive the Databricks roadmap forward and guide customers through best practices and implementation.
  • •Promote and recruit contributors for Databricks-inspired open-source projects including Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow.

Key Requirements

  • •15+ years in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or a similar pre-sales/consulting role.
  • •10+ years of experience with Big Data technologies including Apache Spark, AI, data science, data engineering, Hadoop, Cassandra, and related tools.
  • •Strong consulting and customer-facing experience working with external clients across multiple industries.
  • •Coding experience in Python, R, Java, Apache Spark, or Scala.
  • •Experience building distributed data systems and delivering solutions using public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
