Job Summary

Design, implement, operate, and evolve a scalable Lakehouse-based cloud data platform that powers data warehousing, analytics, and AI workloads. Partner with architects and product/application teams to deliver secure, reliable, governed, and cost-efficient data services, driving automation and self-service onboarding. Build CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and GitHub pipelines, implement observability and resiliency, and support regulated-environment compliance while optimizing performance and adoption across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, operate, and continuously improve cloud-based data platform services and infrastructure for enterprise data, analytics, and AI workloads.
•Build and maintain Lakehouse architecture capabilities for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data at enterprise scale.
•Implement CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and configuration management (including reusable modules, templates, and blueprints) using Terraform and GitHub pipelines.
•Establish governance, security, observability, monitoring, and resiliency (disaster recovery, backup, failover) to ensure reliability, availability, and performance.
•Collaborate with architects and teams to define platform standards and roadmaps, enable analytics/AI/ML workloads, and mentor junior engineers.

Salary: USD 137,400 - 233,600 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
•7+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
•Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS).
•Strong experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks.
•Proven DevOps/platform engineering experience, including infrastructure resources creation and IaC/data object change management.
