  • •Resolve issues within scope of authority and escalate to appropriate areas or personnel as determined by policy and procedure.
  • •Manage and service office account books of business in accordance with ERIE policy and procedures and within scope of authority.
  • •Apply knowledge of ERIE systems and products to address caller concerns, make billing arrangements, correct errors, and document resolutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required; or an associate degree with 2 years’ experience in a call center, customer service, insurance operations, or related experience; or a high school diploma/GED with 4 years’ relevant experience.
  • •Ability to work a schedule commensurate with department hours and follow ERIE’s holiday schedule.
  • •License in Property and Casualty insurance (and/or other required licenses based on compliance requirements) as applicable.
  • •Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software and demonstrated typing ability (28 words per minute) preferred.
  • •Training requires employees to be on-site Monday–Friday during the ~16-week training period (vacation not permitted unless approved).
