Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively manage a portfolio of European corporate leverage borrowers and selected large-cap leveraged finance borrowers across leveraged loans and ancillary banking products.
  • •Perform first-level credit/financial/risk analysis, including ongoing borrower analysis, preparation of monitoring reports, cash flow model analysis, and internal rating review.
  • •Support identification, execution, and ongoing management of financing opportunities (leveraged loans, refinancings, and ancillary opportunities including FX, derivatives, trade finance, deposits, and working capital facilities) and asset recycling.
  • •Conduct in-depth financial/credit analysis and prepare credit submissions for new transactions, amendments/waivers, and add-on/refinancing opportunities; present recommendations to SPD management and Credit.
  • •Maintain sponsor-backed borrower relationships, liaise with origination and deal teams to drive new business, coordinate operational requirements with back/middle office teams, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

  • •Knowledge of the European leveraged finance market.
  • •Strong credit/risk analysis skills from European leveraged finance transactions, including interpreting historic financials, due diligence, budgets/forecasts/projections, and cash flow modelling.
