Key Responsibilities

  • •Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
  • •Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment using processes such as GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, PAW, SMAW, OAW, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding.
  • •Use manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and run brazing and soldering equipment.
  • •Conduct technical inspections, repairs, modifications, and retrofits while maintaining safe work.
  • •Keep accurate reports and documentation and ensure assigned tasks and projects are completed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 56.87 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Valid CWB welding certification covering Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW).
  • •Journeyman Red Seal Welder with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the mining or heavy industrial setting.
  • •Valid Class 5 British Columbia driver’s license.
  • •Experience with mobile equipment and routine maintenance operations.
  • •Demonstrate eligibility to work in Canada.
