Lead offshore/onshore field engineering activities, providing technical guidance and delivering engineering deliverables. Serves as primary point of contact for technical queries during construction and installation, coordinating with Onshore teams to resolve issues and ensure project alignment with client and McDermott standards.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Review all technical project documents upon contract award and identify differences or discrepancies between pre-contract and post-contract documents, as well as deficiencies in tender method statements.
•Attend bid interviews with local management and participate in global management reviews.
•Ensure all bid inputs are reviewed and approved by the Division Manager and General Superintendent; Diving Manager to review diving estimates.
•Prepare technical clarifications/qualifications about the scope of work, drawings, and specifications and submit them to the Proposal Coordinator.
•Develop a plan and allocate resources for the project to ensure engineering deliverables are completed according to the schedule.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
•7-9 years of experience in the oil and gas industry with major contractors or consultant
•At least 2-3 years of operations and field engineering experience
•Thorough knowledge of Excel with Macro commands
•MS Project scheduling software
