Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide timely, cost-effective legal counsel to business units across regional and global matters.
  • •Advise on and negotiate commercial transactions and contracts with customers, vendors, and service providers.
  • •Support strategic transactions (including M&A) by identifying risks and conducting due diligence.
  • •Manage day-to-day legal issues involving business operations such as plant operations, logistics, asset management, and real estate (leases and property agreements).
  • •Lead litigation strategy, manage disputes, and handle intellectual property rights issues with external counsel as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. or Canada jurisdiction.
  • •Bachelor's degree from an accredited law school qualification.
  • •At least 8+ years post qualification experience handling complex commercial transactions and customer contracting.
  • •Strong drafting and negotiation skills to balance legal risk with business objectives.
  • •Experience supporting fast-paced operating environments, preferably in industrial, logistics, manufacturing, equipment, or service-based businesses.
