Key Responsibilities

•Co-lead taught modules and the dissertation module on the MSc Artificial Intelligence Implementation (Healthcare).
•Serve as deputy director of the MSc programme and work with senior staff across the Department, College, local NHS Trusts, and national networks.
•Contribute to curriculum development and renewal, develop and manage teaching and learning approaches, and advise on learning, teaching, and assessment.
•Advance teaching and learning practice using discipline-based research, including student academic support and employability-focused teaching enhancements.
•Contribute to management and administration activities such as knowledge transfer, enterprise, business and public engagement, widening participation, and schools outreach.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 109,725 - 145,478 annually

Key Requirements

•Normally, a higher degree relevant to the discipline area (usually PhD) or equivalent qualifications.
•Extensive teaching experience and scholarship within subject specialism, including experience in designing, delivering, assessing, and revising teaching programmes.
•Proven ability to devise, advise on, and manage learning for individuals and groups across levels.
•Healthcare professional with relevant clinical discipline registration (e.g., GMC) and at least five years’ experience in a relevant clinical speciality.
•Skills in managing, motivating, and mentoring others.
