Key Responsibilities

  • •Align handover and commissioning activities with engineers and vendors during design phases.
  • •Participate in design workshops supporting pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
  • •Provide input to P&ID, hazard, and model reviews; review cause-and-effect diagrams and spare parts orders.
  • •Develop commissioning records (closeout) documentation throughout the project and manage the documentation plan through project phases.
  • •Supervise site commissioning activities (system checks/walk-downs/punching, mechanical completion, pre-/cold-/hot commissioning) and lead on-site HSE issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or degree qualified in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, ideally a Chartered Engineer or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
  • •Appropriate commissioning experience: typically 7 years of engineering experience if degree qualified, or 10 years of relevant practical experience if trade discipline qualified.
  • •Good standard of general computer literacy and full conversance with discipline technical knowledge.
  • •Proven experience interpreting discipline documentation.
  • •Ability to monitor work progress and report against the plan.
