Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Executives to pursue and execute large load customer opportunities and drive sustained revenue growth.
  • •Provide oversight of a portfolio of large load customer projects, ensuring accurate tracking, milestone execution, and effective team/customer handoffs.
  • •Lead and participate in negotiations and management of system interconnection, construction, and electric service agreements while balancing needs and risk.
  • •Coordinate cross-functionally with Transmission and Distribution design, Project Management, Regulatory, Capital Strategy, Strategic Accounts, Legal, and Communications to surface and resolve execution risks.
  • •Act as the primary liaison with state, regional, and local economic development partners and ensure coordination for successful project completion.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, political science, communications, or a related field.
  • •7+ years of relevant professional experience in large customer/business development, economic/community development, utility/infrastructure, or complex project leadership.
  • •3+ years of supervisory, people leadership, or project leadership experience, including coaching and leading through change.
  • •Experience working directly with large load customers such as data centers or advanced manufacturing facilities.
  • •Knowledge of electric utility transmission and distribution systems and interconnection processes.
