Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote and enforce safety culture; ensure compliance with safety standards and ZERO HARM policies across the maintenance function.
  • •Lead development and execution of preventive maintenance schedules, CMMS management, and long-term maintenance budgeting.
  • •Plan and supervise day-to-day maintenance operations; coordinate with production for reliability improvements and minimal downtime.
  • •Direct leadership of a multi-trade maintenance team; oversee training, performance reviews, and succession planning.
  • •Manage external contractors, ensure scope/budget/timelines, and coordinate site access to minimise operational disruptions.

Key Requirements

  • •Trade tested Millwright/Electrician
  • •Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in a maintenance leadership role, preferably in a sawmill
