Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as an ALD coatings subject matter expert within the Materials Center of Excellence, shaping strategic decisions for ALD coatings in both hardware and process.
  • •Lead end-to-end productization and execution, supporting commercialization and successful customer ramp.
  • •Collaborate on new chamber architecture product development and next-generation components for cutting-edge manufacturing devices.
  • •Design and conduct material engineering experiments, analyze complex data, and generate internal/external documentation and engineering specifications.
  • •Troubleshoot and resolve complex materials engineering issues and engage with customers to address high value problems (HVPs).

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience (or equivalent) in ALD coatings and related hardware development, with a BS degree in Engineering (Masters or Ph.D. preferred).
  • •Drive innovative materials and methods, including hardware characterization for complex systems within safety guidelines.
  • •Develop, plan, and execute material engineering projects across a range of products.
  • •Design experiments, collect and analyze data, compile technical reports, and assess technical trade-offs versus cost trade-offs.
  • •Define and validate material measurement/analytical techniques and troubleshoot complex materials engineering issues.
