Job Summary

Develop and productize atomic-level ALD coating technology for semiconductor and display manufacturing. You’ll serve as an ALD subject-matter expert across hardware and process, designing strategic decisions, executing material engineering projects, and analyzing complex experimental data. Partner with R&D and cross-functional leaders to deliver chamber architecture component developments, validate measurement and analytical techniques, troubleshoot material issues, and support customer ramp with technical documentation and specifications.

•Serve as an ALD coatings subject matter expert within the Materials Center of Excellence, shaping strategic decisions for ALD coatings in both hardware and process.
•Lead end-to-end productization and execution, supporting commercialization and successful customer ramp.
•Collaborate on new chamber architecture product development and next-generation components for cutting-edge manufacturing devices.
•Design and conduct material engineering experiments, analyze complex data, and generate internal/external documentation and engineering specifications.
•Troubleshoot and resolve complex materials engineering issues and engage with customers to address high value problems (HVPs).

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience (or equivalent) in ALD coatings and related hardware development, with a BS degree in Engineering (Masters or Ph.D. preferred).
•Drive innovative materials and methods, including hardware characterization for complex systems within safety guidelines.
•Develop, plan, and execute material engineering projects across a range of products.
•Design experiments, collect and analyze data, compile technical reports, and assess technical trade-offs versus cost trade-offs.
•Define and validate material measurement/analytical techniques and troubleshoot complex materials engineering issues.
