Job Summary

Manage DOT compliance for drivers across assigned facilities, using telematics and ELD dashboard data to identify and correct HOS violations, form/manner errors, safety events, and unaddressed driving records. Advise and educate drivers on proper log completion and avoiding repeat violations, maintain Driver Qualification files, and support post-incident and new-hire training. Track citations and accidents, conduct vehicle spot checks, and help with internal incident investigations.

Key Responsibilities

•Work with Operations Leadership to correct non-compliant data in the ELD system dashboard, including HOS violations, form and manner errors, safety events, and driving events.
•Counsel and advise drivers on proper log completion and educate them on mistakes to avoid repeat DOT violations.
•Assist with maintaining and administering Driver Qualification files, including involvement with post-incident and new-hire training.
•Collect and review accident information, track driver citations and roadside violations, and assist with internal incident investigations.
•Oversee driver safety in a regional area with site visits included and administer spot checks on vehicles for compliance.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•4+ years experience with training, program execution, and/or influencing for behavior change, plus at least 2 years of experience in the DOT field.
•Ability to travel within the designated region up to 25%.
•Strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail.
•Effective communication and time management skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority.
•Competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat, and standard office equipment (computers, scanners, printers).
