Job Summary

Commission, program, and test direct digital control systems for assigned projects, including troubleshooting and servicing at customer locations. •Commission, program, set up graphics and communications links, perform end-to-end testing, and troubleshoot and service assigned projects.
•Document point-to-point verification, validate sequences of operations, and complete job closeout requirements.
•Serve as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at the customer’s location.
•Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
•Maintain current knowledge of Trane product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair for direct digital control systems.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent, typically 3-5 years of experience in HVAC/Controls; technical school or formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and working proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
•Previous experience with DDC controls system preferred.
