Key Responsibilities

  • •Define data collection methods for observational, spatial, operations, and environmental data for projects, research, and surveys.
  • •Assist in preparing general plans, master plans, community plans, zoning codes, and development standards with emphasis on transportation and multimodal accommodation.
  • •Analyze and interpret data from field/site investigations to develop action plans addressing transport-related challenges and environmental impacts.
  • •Support proposal development and conduct research as appropriate.
  • •Interact with regulatory agencies, subcontractors, and clients in a professional manner.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Planning, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •5 to 7 years of experience in transportation and/or environmental planning, involving general/master plans, zoning updates, public involvement, and regulatory compliance for transportation projects.
  • •Experience with the transportation project development cycle from planning to implementation.
  • •Experience reviewing surface transportation projects, cost estimates, and readiness for inclusion in local/regional Transportation Plans.
  • •Strong analytical, GIS/space data interpretation, and regulatory/policy knowledge with ability to work with regulatory agencies and clients.
